"Shadow & Splendor", the latest from Jersey girl, Stacie
Rose, is a little pop, a little rock, and proves all heart deep inside.
Your ears instantly tune to the delicate voice, soft and clean and at
times push to levels worthy of "rock star" labeling. Listening
to the songwriting and arrangements, it's very clear that Stacie knows
the value of catchy riffs and choruses to grab attention. From the radio
friendly "Consider Me" to the tender approach of U2's "New
Years Day" the music has a rich maturity about it that's seldom heard
even in the big rock world of the major label. Stacie Rose has easily
won our indie hearts; give the disc a try yourself.
